I just downloaded the trial version of you export extension and had some questions. If you find some time to help us, we would be grateful.
For instance, it seems that the extension isinteracting with your servers. In the user guide, you wrote a .NET local installation could be done. In case we buy your software, would you provide us this 3rd party software ? What's the requirements ?
Do you support US page format (Letter etc) ? Only A* are listed in the documentation.
We found out lots of drawbacks in the standard PDF export features, as :
- Export Application:
- Formating is not acceptable
- Impossible to identify hierarchy nodes from leafs
- Export*Screen
- Only a screenshot
- Data from the crosstabs are not all exported
Your plugin seems much more powerful, but I still have trouble to make it work correctly.
We are using a generic analysis template and our queries can vary a lot (from a small dataset to datadump (10000 rows x 50 cols). In this scenario, you are providing a special component OPENBIEXPORTTABLE which should covers the requirement.
I couln't make it work. There is no export function on it, and when I try to exprt its data with the PDF export extension, I get the placeholder instead of the data (%OPENBIEXPORTTABLE_1%).
Could you advise ?
Will it handle correctly the hierarchies in Excel and PDF mode ?
And lastly, what is the price range of your extension ?
