Design Studio Filter Panel on multiple Hana views

I have a Design Studio Dashboard 1.6 with multiple Hana Views.  I need to know if I bind the filter panel to one data source, but include multiple target data sources or Hana views:

1 - Does the bound data source need to include all LOVs or members (superset) so that it will filter the target data sources and not exclude any values or will it automatically associate all LOV members across all data sets?  I can go about testing this, but an answer could save a lot of time.

2 - Should I check "Only values with posted data" in the bound datasource or will this conflict with #1

3 - I see that the Filter Panel will filter each dimension member in cascading order.  I assume that this hierarchical relationship is based on the bound data source and that doesn't necessarily include relationships from the other Hana views.  Does this imply that a Hana view should be built which is representative of the combination of target data sources to act as the bound data source for the filter panel?

I recognize that my questions are based on limited exposure to Hana data modeling.  In my Hana datasources or views I see that the dimension members are not the same for all Hana views included in my dashboard.

Thanks for the support!
