You are seeing these WaitEvents because the configuration "number of checkpoint tasks" is > 1

This is similar checkpoint process "checkpoint process idle loop" sleep event but for the additional configured tasks.

These worker threads will sit idle (sleep) until the main checkpoint process wakes them up to perform checkpoint duties.

Once their work is done, they go back to sleep and the cycle repeats.  A high number of sleeps are not a sign of a problem, it simply reflects the time spent waiting for checkpoint to wake up and run its chores.
